7 Combat Expertise: When you use the attack action or the full attack action in melee, you can take a penalty of up to -5 on your attack roll and add the same number (up to 5) to your Defense. This number may not exceed your base attack bonus (2). The changes to attack rolls and Defense last until your next action. The bonus to your Defense is a dodge bonus (and as such it stacks with other dodge bonuses you may have).

8 Archaic Weapons Prof.: You take no penalty on attack rolls when using any kind of archaic weapon.

9 Exploit Weakness: After 1 round of combat, you can designate one opponent and try to find ways to gain an advantage by using brains over brawn. You use a move action and make an Intelligence check (DC 15) with a bonus equal to your Smart level. If the check succeeds, for the rest of the combat you use your Intelligence bonus instead of either Strength or Dexterity bonus on attack rolls as you find ways to outthink your opponent and notice weaknesses in your opponent’s fighting style.

10 Weapon Focus (Tai-Chi Sword): You gain a +1 bonus on all attack rolls you make using the selected weapon.
